It changes votes needed from a simple majority of votes cast to a majority in every congressional district.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VOTE NO: Amendment 5<\/strong>:&nbsp;<strong>This measure&nbsp;<\/strong>gives the Mo Legislature the ability to expand sales taxes without a vote of the people. Proceeds from these sales taxes will be used to reduce income taxes. An estimate of 80% of Missourians will see taxes go up should this pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VOTE YES:&nbsp; St Louis County &#8211; Proposition U:<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Passage of this measure will allow the county to collect taxes from internet sales.
