I hope your Memorial Day Weekend was good, as we paid tribute to those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country and our freedom. Thank you to ALL of our veterans!

Memorial Day began May 30, 1868, in remembrance of the many many people who died during the civil war. Ordinary people gave their lives in order to preserve and keep this country – united and committed to the American principle that ALL are created equal. A principle that said NO to slavery!

Currently this country appears to be embroiled in similar philosophical wars.  The super rich are bribing their way – to mergers, to less regulation, to unfettered data center growth while receiving tax cuts paid for with cuts to  Medicaid and food stamps. The government is eliminating DEI programs and legislative seats for people of color.

Prices for essential goods, like gas & meat, are out of sight. Missouri Republicans gerrymandered Congressional districts for Trump, are trying to destroy the people’s initiative petition process and are seeking to reestablish a total ban on abortion!

Will the POWER of the wealthy elite be able to crush the POWER OF THE PEOPLE?

 WE SAY NO!!

If you are feeling overwhelmed, TAKE ACTION.
